Cigar Club Meeting Notes
January 5th, 2012
Meeting began with the pledge of allegiance, outgoing President Mark Tersey talked about how much fun he had and passed leadership over to Buck.Crenshaw.
Leon McCraney gave the Vice President’s report and talked about deciding whether to liquidate the remaining cigars in the humidor or continue keeping one stocked.
Bob Visconti gave the Treasurer’s report and mentioned how we made the two donations to Salvation Army and Wounded Warriors programs.
Brad Parks gave the Secretary’s report and introduced himself and let everyone know that he’ll be taking notes for all the meetings in the 2010 year.
There was no old business to attend to, so Larry Peck brought up new business in suggesting we moved February’s meeting back a week, but the motion was turned down.
Larry Peck went over this month’s raffle prizes which included several bottles of wine, cigars, rum, wallets, a picture, and the grand prizes which included a very nice lighter and an authentic Cohiba Cuban cigar.
The meeting wrapped up with the president of the Shriner club coming and introducing himself and discussing how there would be buffet style dinners provided by the Shriners at an individual cost for whoever wanted to eat. |
